Yardney Spin Flow® Screen Filters employ the benefits of vortex action spin flow with the advantages of woven mesh screen filtration. Water enters the screen housing tangentially, vortexing the flow - a technique that separates heavy particulate away from the fine mesh cartridge. This method of separation simplifies and reduces cartridge cleaning. Heavy sediment is flushed from the filter through a conveniently located flush port, while the finer contaminate is entrapped on the fine screen cartridge. filters can be mounted in a horizontal or vertical position with single unit flow rates to 350 GPM. For higher flow requirements, multiple screens are applied on a common manifold. This filter incorporates the advantages of centrifugal action with the use of fine screen mesh filtration. All screen mesh is field replaceable polypropylene and is available in 40, 80, 100, 150, and 200 mesh.

Assembly includes housing, screen cartridge, pressure gauges. Inlet/outlet manifolds for Model SF10 multiple unit installations are also included.

The Yardney Spin Flow® Vortex Action Screen Filter is constructed of carbon steel and is internally coated with 3M Scotchkote® 134 Fusion Bonded Epoxy. The exterior of the housing is powder coated with U.V. stabilized polyester.
