Agricultural and Greenhouse Irrigation Water Filtration
Modern, controlled emission irrigation systems have provided the agricultural and greenhouse industry with the management tools for higher quality production, lower costs and increased productivity. All low volume, drip, sprinkler, micro-spray and trickle irrigation systems have one common requirement for success, "clean water."

Yardney Water Management Systems was the first company in the irrigation marketplace to dedicate itself to water quality improvement systems for agricultural irrigation in 1965. Production of the first Yardney Sand Media Filter took place in 1965. This product has improved dramatically over the years but the same basic principles of design are incorporated in the Yardney filters of today.

Yardney Backwashing Sand Media Filters are available in a wide range of flow sizes from 15 gpm to 10,000 gpm. All models are available with automatic or manual back flush capability. Yardney Sand Media Filters are available in carbon steel construction as well as stainless steel. All systems are available with optional 3M Scotchkote® 134 fusion bonded epoxy lining for aggressive water applications. Yardney Screen Filter models include products that are fabricated out of carbon steel which are coated with 3M Scotchkote® 134 and other products fabricated out of Type 304 stainless steel.

The Yardney Screen Filter product line includes filters that are manual clean products and other products that are automatic flushing screen filter products. Screen filters are best suited for applications where the suspended solids are inorganic in nature and where the suspended solids loading is not heavy.

The various Yardney Screen Filter and Sand Media filter products offer a wide selection of products to select from. Yardney screen filters offer innovative design that provides for high efficiency, low pressure drop, optimum utilization of filtration surface area, unexcelled serviceability and outstanding value.

Yardney Self Cleaning Pump Suction Screens set the standard for durability and reliability. These self cleaning screens protect pump intakes from debris, trash, fish and other aquatic life. These products meet the specifications of many federal and state standards for fish protection from pump intakes.

The unique Yardney Centrifugal Sand Separator provides for the removal of inorganic solids (Sand, Silt, Grit, Stones, Etc.) with a specific gravity of 2 or greater using centrifugal action without using screen elements, medias, or barriers. Yardney Sand Separators provide 98% removal of separable solids 75 microns in size and larger. Purging of captured solids can be accomplished automatically, manually or continuously.

Yardney technical innovation and worldwide field application experience provides the greatest resource of products and application expertise available in the irrigation industry today.
